Renewal Instructions and Requirements
Freedom Alliance Scholarships are renewable for up to three years (a total of four scholarships), provided that the student is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate and that their cumulative grade point average (GPA) is at least a 2.0 (on a 4-point scale).
Students wishing to renew their Freedom Alliance scholarship will need to download the enrollment verification forms. Renewal information is also included in the student newsletter which is emailed to current scholarship recipients every month. Once completed, the forms must be mailed to Freedom Alliance along with the recipient’s updated photo and the official transcripts.
Please be sure to read through and follow the instructions on each of the enrollment verification forms as failure to do so will result in a delay of your scholarship renewal check being mailed.
When Freedom Alliance has received the forms, the student will be notified of their renewal award amount and a scholarship check will be mailed to the school.
PLEASE NOTE: Scholarship checks will only be endorsed and mailed to your school’s Financial Aid or Bursar’s Office.
Enrollment Verification Forms
Students wishing to renew their scholarship will need to download the two enrollment verification forms. These forms are titled: Conditions and Details of Scholarship Award (Blue Form) and the Verification of Student Enrollment, Expenses and Financial Aid Form (Yellow Form). The student must complete the Blue Form in its entirety and return it to Freedom Alliance. The student and the school will be responsible for completing the Yellow Form and returning it to Freedom Alliance. It is recommended that you check the status of your renewal paperwork with your school’s Financial Aid Office and with the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Administrator. In order to renew your scholarship you must also send to Freedom Alliance the most recent copy of your official transcripts, which include grades from fall 2016 and spring 2017. You must also send in a new, updated photo of yourself, which can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
